Hello friend of TAF (TheAmazingFruits), in TAF I not only discuss about the fruit, but I am going to discuss about the plants that are beneficial to our health. I do not discuss at this time the fruit, but I will discuss the ginger plant.
Wild Ginger (Curcuma xanthorrhiza) is
a medicinal plant belonging to the tribe-finding meeting (Zingiberaceae). It is originally from Indonesia, especially Java, then spread to several places in the biogeographic region of Malesia. Currently, most of the cultivation meeting buffoonery are in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines this plant other than in Southeast Asia can be found also in China, Indochina, Barbados, India, Japan, Korea, United States and some European countries.

Name areas in Java, ginger, in Sundanese called koneng big, whereas in Madura called Intersection labak. These plants can grow well in lowland until height of 1500 meters above sea level and berhabitat in tropical forests. Intersection buffoonery rhizomes can grow and thrive in loose soil. This plant is grown conventionally on a small scale using simple cultivation technology, because it is difficult to determine the position of the center of ginger cultivation in Indonesia. Almost in every rural area, especially at medium and high plains, ginger can be found primarily in a shady area.

In Indonesia, the only part that is used is the rhizome meeting buffoonery to be made godog herbs. The rhizome contains 48 to 59.64% starch, 1.6 to 2.2% and from 1.48 to 1.63% curcumin and essential oils are believed to enhance kidney function and anti-inflammatory. Another benefit of the rhizome of this plant is as a remedy acne, increased appetite, anti-cholesterol, anti-inflammatory, anemia, antioxidant, cancer prevention, and antimicrobial.

Here are details of some of the treatments that exploit the properties of the meeting buffoonery:  
  • Treating kidney stones. How, to prepare for meeting buffoonery toe, and 3 leaf cat whiskers. Rinse and then boiled in 3 cups of water until remaining 1 glass. Drink every morning and afternoon. 
  • Treating malnutrition. Way, take 1 finger meeting buffoonery, wash thoroughly, then grate. Combine with 1 cup cooking water and a little salt, then squeeze and strain. Drinking water 3 times a day each 1 cup.
  •  Treating liver. Prepare 1 finger meeting buffoonery and half kg blonceng / white pumpkin (peeled and sliced​​). Boil 5 cups of water until the remaining 3 cups. Drinking water 3 times a day.
